To accomplish his mission, the organization relies on education and training in leadership, entrepreneurship, professional training and women’s empowerment. The goal is to engage young people and women as leaders so that they contribute effectively to the social and economic life of their community

Our main programs

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Contribute to the empowerment of women, especially those living in rural areas, by providing them with practical training in income-generating activities, by organizing them into development cooperatives.

GIRLS WHO LEAD THE WORLD

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS CLUB

The Young Entrepreneur Club (YEC) is a group of young entrepreneurs created and/or networked by YAPED. The objective is to allow entrepreneurs to work in a network in order to be more competitive and very efficient.

MENTORING PROGRAM

YAPED Mentoring Program is designed to discuss and teach the principles of manhood. This program helps young men realize their potential and envision and prepare for a robust and productive future. Mentoring Program aims to break the misguided traits of manhood and introduce role models who provide positive examples of manhood.

ACCADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

YAPED scholarship program aims to find scholarships for students, to provide school supplies to students and to reward the best pupils and students.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

YAPED community service program has two mains parts. The first part relates to raising awareness among populations about their duties in the community so that they become real actors of development in their community. This involves public health sessions, discussion and information sessions on the dangers linked to the consumption of psychotropic substances.

The second part relates to food and clothing collection campaigns for the needy.
